Mario Fernández Alonso

Born in 1972 at Cartagena, Murcia. Licenced in clinical psychology by the University of Valencia in 1998, specialiced in treatment of severe mentally ill persons. Director, writer, editor and producer, his short films ‘Leaving Marcos’, ‘The pack’, and ‘Niger’ have been selected at important festivals like Gijón, San Sebastián, Versión Española, Huesca, Cinema Jove, Skopje, Israel, México, Sao Pablo, Odense, Uppsala, Varsovia, etc., where they have won several awards. Selected and invited for Berlinale Talents Program 2015.
